Quick and easy Go for your Mac
The Go widget is an Apple Dashboard widget which lets you play go on a 9x9 board against the GNU Go engine.
Download the Go widget here.
Then unizip the file and double-click it. This will add the widget to your dashboard.
You may be asked to authorize the widget to use the command line. This is necessary to communicate whith GNU Go.
The Go widget is localized in English, French, Spanish and Portuguese.
The language is chosen automatically depending on your OS configuration.

At the end of a game, the Go widget will show you the detailed score in the following format :
White : 15 T + 3 D + 1 C + 5.5 K = 24.5
The letters stand for :
- T = Territory
- D = Dead, the number of your opponent's stones you have surrounded
- C = Number of stones captured during the game
- K = Komi (only for white)
